IMPORTANT – VERIFY COMPATIBILITY BEFORE ORDERING
Garmin has produced many similar-looking GPSMAP models with different rear connections. Not all Garmin GPSMAP units have an HDMI OUT port. ECHOMAP models and many smaller GPSMAP models do not have HDMI OUT.
Before purchasing, physically inspect the back of your Garmin unit or refer to the Garmin owner's manual and confirm that your exact model has a port labeled HDMI OUT.
If you are unsure whether your Garmin is compatible, contact BFE with your exact Garmin model number BEFORE placing your order. Do not assume compatibility based on screen size, model family, or appearance.
This kit requires an actual HDMI OUT connection on the Garmin. Video output through DVI, USB, Garmin Marine Network, or other connections is not the same as HDMI OUT and does not make the unit compatible.
